Role Requirements:

1. Sound knowledge on Direct Taxation:

- Advance Tax computation and ITR filing (for both Company and Trust accounts);

- Interactions with the Income Tax department to take matters of IT demand, scrutiny (if any) etc. to a logical conclusion as and when required.

2. Developing and maintaining close associations with:

- Ultra-High-net-worth clients of the company;

- Banks, financial institutions, wealth managers etc.;

- NSDL and RTAs;

- On shore and Off shore partners like lawyers/law firms, chartered accountants and tax counsels;

- Auditors.

3. Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts and financials from time to time;

- Payouts/ distributions from the trusts under management to respective beneficiaries;

- Preparing monthly MIS;

- Statutory payments and returns (TDS and GST);

- Cash Flow management;

- Ensuring timely compliances (in co-ordination with the Company Secretary) and external audit of the books of accounts.

4. In depth knowledge of market investments like equity, mutual funds, PMS, AIF, bonds, debentures etc. and related taxation of the same;

5. Understanding of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and DTAA; and

6. Good inter-personal and communication skill
