Primary KRA's:
- Monthly closure of books of accounts for all the centres on the last working day of the month
- Quarterly audited Closure of books latest by 15th of subsequent month
- Preparation of annual financial Statements latest by 15th May every year as per the relevant Accounting standards of ICAI and without any qualification in the Audit Report.
- Liasioning with Statutory and Internal Auditors.
- Filing of returns by 31st May every year.
- Revenue Assurance & establishing controls to curb malpractices and prevent frauds
- Vendor Management & Control: Ensuring payments are made as per the Budgets and variances are reported
- Expense Administration and ensuring Cost Efficiency and effectiveness
- Fixed Assets Management
- Handling of promoters' accounts & balance sheet / returns filing (daily closing of cash in hand) monthly, quarterly & annual reports and filing of returns by 15th June every year
- Establishing practises and formulating policies & SOPs of various critical activities in the function.
- Ensuring smooth transition to ERP environment.
- Treasury management - projecting and analysing cash flow position to make sure that there are no cash deficits.
- Ensuring Daily closure of cash book duly audited
- Real time accounting & daily closure of accounts including enrollments, revenue, expenses etc
- Ensuring that Books of accounts are closed on daily basis making sure that they are raid proof.
Secondary KRAs:
- Defining roles and responsibilities for the members in team.
- Providing Support to Centres towards ensuring compliances.
- Ensuring compliances towards TDS, Advance tax & Services Tax
- Liasoning with Banks and other bodies
- Assisting in Business Valuation
- Ensuring that work is done in strict timeliness and with surgical precision as required under IPO environment.
- Ensuring proper filing of records where retrieval is quick.
- Ensuring fortnightly Bank Reconciliation, Revenue Reconciliation and Service Tax reconciliation
- Project Accounting and ensuring controls in Projects
Candidate Profile:
- Candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience post Qualification (CA or MBA from reputed Institute)
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) to liaison with Centre Heads and mentoring and training of accounting staff at Centres and Corporate Office.
- Open to travel once in a month
- Reasonably good Excel Skills.
- Ability to analyse
