FieldFresh Foods - Senior Manager - Maintenance

Principal Accountabilities

- Cost Optimization through engineering design

- To lead and manage all Operations of Utilities and Maintenance activities of Plant Assets to ensure - Plant availability, improvement of performance and efficiencies and to achieve targets relating to Cost, EHS and Quality objectives.

- Responsible for developing the standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance activities in Utilities that will meet the requirements of EHS, Engineering, QMS and regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to the same

- To develop and sustain systems for compliance to EHS / QMS/ ISO / OHSAS / HACCP requirements to ensure 100% compliance to Audits (Internal/External/Self Assessments) / Regulatory requirements / standards laid down as per Company's Policy / Statutory Bodies. This will include carrying out Risk Assessments in these areas, developing mitigation plans, identifying and implementing adequate Engineering, system and administrative controls and ensuring tracking /completion of actions, as per agreed timelines.

- Responsible for defining the Sustainability strategy for the site, aligning with Corporate goals, identifying projects for the Site on Energy and Water conservation, Plan and KPI- s, ensuring systems for monitoring and reporting Site Energy consumption and driving Energy reduction projects.

- Identify and Implement programs in training, safety, communications, performance recognition and internal employee development in the Utilities/Engineering/Maintenance functions.

- Develop Site Capex plan, coordinating with all functions,Budgeting considering equipment Life cycles, upgradations, replacements and modifications in cost-effective ways so as to ensure upkeep of Plant facility, while ensuring the Capital projects adhere to the latest Engineering and GMP practices, capital program objectives and scope, timeliness of schedule and governance. He would be responsible for Continuous improvement projects and technology up-gradations on a continuous basis.

- Ensure all Regulatory requirements pertaining to Engineering are met and ensure completion of action points, if identified. The regulatory agencies are primarily Pollution control Board, Electricity Board, Boiler Inspectorate, Electrical Inspectorate, Chief Controller Explosives, apart from other statutory authorities.

- Facilitate in maintenance of spares.

- Implementation of Industry best practices & delivery of good quality work within allocated budget.

- Work out and implement standard operating procedures for all equipments.

- implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives

- Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems

- implement cost control programs

- Should have adequate knowledge of TPM, especially 5S, Autonomous maintenance, Planned Maintenance

Desirables:

- Must maintain and be responsible for PM / AM systems, inspection routines, inventory control, job scheduling, staff training, maintenance cost, and identification of plant improvement plans including efficiency and yield.

- Drive process improvement and team development through the implementation of TPM techniques.

- Responsible for compliance to all Plant policies, procedures, safety and sanitation rules and governmental regulations.

- Close interaction with all plant teams such as Production, SHEQ, Planning, and Finance. Must have good interpersonal skills in dealing with mechanics and hourly workforce as well as communicating with all levels of management.

Qualification :

- Should possess a B.Tech/ M Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Should have 15-20 years of relevant experience in independently managing the Operation and Maintenance of Utilities & Services department in a continuous process industry, Preferably Food Industry.

- Should have experience in handling Safety and environment related aspects.

- He should have the experience in Project Management, Capital Cost accounting and controls.

- Should be conversant with the statutory requirements and laws including IBR, Indian Electricity Regulations, Pollution Control Board Standards and others.

- Should have sound exposure to highly technical and advanced state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Automation Systems.
