Strategic Alliance Specialist
Position Overview:
- The Product and Strategic Alliance Role is a key position within a company's business development or strategic partnerships team.
- This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic banking and NBFC alliances and partnerships to drive product growth, market expansion, and revenue generation.
- The role requires a combination of product management expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills along with a prior experience & knowledge in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify potential strategic partners and evaluate their suitability based on the company's product roadmap, market strategy, and business objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic alliance plan, including NBFC & partner identification, prioritization, and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as product, marketing, sales, and legal) to define partnership goals, scope, and value proposition.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with the CXOs of the company in order to resolve hurdles in partnership development.
Product Development and Analysis:
- Work closely with the product management team to understand the company's product and provide business knowledge to the product team such that maximum synergy can be obtained while working with different partners.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements, integrations, or new features through strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with partners to define joint product strategies, feature requirements, and timelines.
- Coordinate and drive the implementation of joint product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Act as a primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing ongoing collaboration.
- Analyse current products and processes to identify patterns, gaps, or areas for improvement. Reconcile the product revenues to support stakeholders in making informed business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 0-3 Years of experience working in the field of Finance/NBFCs/FinTechs/Lending in the team of product and alliance.
- Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Bachelor's degree with some progression towards CFA would also be preferred.
- Proven experience in product management, business development, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive decision-making.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
