About the Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist Manager at FatakPay, one of the fastest growing fintech platforms in lending, you will play a crucial role in harnessing data to power decision-making across our lending operations. You will apply your expertise in data science to solve complex challenges in credit scoring, loan approvals, and financial product innovations, directly contributing to our mission of making financial services more accessible and efficient.

Key Responsibilities :

- Apply advanced analytics and predictive modeling to key areas such as credit risk, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and product development.

- Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate models into actionable lending strategies.

- Enhance our data-driven culture by communicating insights and influencing strategic decisions across marketing, risk management, and operations.

- Monitor model performance and update models as necessary to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.

- 4-8 years of professional experience in data science, with a significant portion in fintech, especially in lending.

- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks and data manipulation tools.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.

- Experience in the fintech sector with a focus on lending platforms.

- Proven track record of deploying models that have impacted the business directly.
