ABOUT THE ROLE:
- We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee the Loan Receivable function within our organization.
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our loan receivable products, from conception to launch and beyond.
- Your primary focus will be on optimizing the management of loan receivables, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving innovations that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial products.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, risk, and technology, to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Strategy: Develop and implement the product strategy for loan receivables, aligning with the company's overall business goals.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of loan receivable products, including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch analysis.
- Loan Receivable Optimization: Continuously optimize the loan receivable process to improve cash flow, reduce delinquencies, and manage credit risk.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with finance, risk, operations, and technology teams to ensure product alignment and successful execution.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all loan receivable products comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
- Market Research: Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs related to loan receivables.
- Customer Focus: Work closely with customer service and feedback channels to understand user pain points and enhance product features.
- Risk Management: Partner with risk management teams to ensure that loan receivable products are designed with appropriate risk controls.
- Innovation: Drive product innovation by identifying new opportunities to enhance the loan receivable portfolio, including new features, partnerships, and technologies.
- Digital Communication Tools: Leverage digital communication tools such as CRM systems, SMS/WhatsApp bulk senders, dialers, and payment gateways to enhance customer interaction and streamline payment processes.
- Information Technology Soft Skills: Utilize programming knowledge and IT skills to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and contribute to the technical aspects of product development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on loan receivables, credit, or financial products, preferably in the Bank/NBFC/Fintech industry.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of loan receivables processes, credit risk management, financial modeling, and digital communication tools.
- Programming Knowledge: Strong IT soft skills, including knowledge of programming, to effectively communicate with technical teams.
- Digital Communication Tools: Knowledge of CRM, SMS/WhatsApp bulk senders, dialers, and payment gateways.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to loan receivables and financial products.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within scope.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to various stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, with strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Advanced Excel and SQL: Proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Experience with Digital Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and financial modeling software.
- Understanding of Emerging Technologies: Knowledge of AI/ML applications in credit risk and loan receivable management.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team or mentoring junior product managers.
