Role Description:

- This is a full-time role for an Insurance Specialist in Business Development of Corporate Sales.

- The role will be on-site, located in Mumbai.

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Specialist to drive B2B corporate sales.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance product sales to corporates, with the ability to assess corporate client needs, pitch relevant insurance solutions, and close deals effectively.

- This role requires excellent insurance product knowledge and consultative selling skills to corporates.

- The Insurance Specialist will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing insurance brokerage operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

- Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with corporate clients, and ensuring the delivery of financial solutions tailored to client needs.

- Prior experience of corporate insurance sales is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand the insurance needs of corporates for their employees and offer customized solutions that align with their employee benefits strategy.

- Develop and manage a pipeline of corporate clients to promote and sell group insurance solutions for employees (Life, Health, Accident, Property, etc.

- Understand the insurance needs of corporates as an entity and offer customized solutions that align with the risk profile of the business.

- Develop and manage a pipeline of corporate clients to promote and sell corporate insurance solutions (Fire, Liability, Data Protection, Fraud etc.

- Collaborate with underwriting and product teams of Insurance companies to develop bespoke proposals for corporates.

- Conduct product presentations, negotiations, and consultations with senior decision-makers (HR, CFOs, procurement heads).

- Participate in quotation process of corporates to provide them with best insurance deals in terms of price points and benefits.

- Work in collaboration with Business Head Corporate Sales and the corporate Sales team to pitch insurance to Corporates.

- Impart knowledge and develop understanding of team on insurance sale for corporates.

- Maintain strong post-sales relationships to ensure renewal, upselling, and client retention.

- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to align the sales strategy.

- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the corporate business portfolio.

- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements in all sales processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

- Post Graduate degree in Business administration preferred.

- Additional insurance certifications preferred (e.g., Licentiate from III) or Agent/ SP examination passed is a plus.

Experience:

- 7 years' plus experience in Insurance Business.

- Preference of working in Insurance Broking or Insurance companies.

- Experience and general insurance and health business preferred.

- Knowledge of group insurance schemes and employee benefit structuring.

- Strong industry and corporate network.

Skills:

- Proven consultative selling and negotiation skills.

- Ability to customize insurance solutions for corporate clients.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
