FarmGuide - Business Analyst

FarmGuide is a data driven tech startup aiming towards digitizing the periodic processes in place and bringing information symmetry in agriculture supply chain through transparent, dynamic & interactive software solutions. Job Description -

- As an Analyst in the Business team, you will help drive the analysis behind company-wide decisions related to operations, process, and optimization. The right person for this job should have excellent analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information.

Key Responsibilities -

Reporting into the founder, the person will be closely working with the business heads of the firm, he/she will be responsible for:

- Working with the clients to scope (from technical and LoE perspectives) the work to be done and in consultation with the teams responsible for executing the work.

- One need to make/oversee proposals, agreements, business presentation and other official communication that FarmGuide does with its clients, both public and private.

- Assessing the opportunity & goals of the project and their alignment with FarmGuides- objectives.

- Defining the work plan from the technical specification of the need for delivery.

- Defining specification of the deliverables, success criteria, high-level approach, challenges/risks & feasibility, program management framework as appropriate.

- Working with cross-functional teams to identify and analyse key levers impacting the project.

- Responsible for preliminary data assessment, use case definition, gap analysis, product design, visualization, Prototyping, project management, and data insights generation.

- Coordinating project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communication system process designs and validate proposed solutions.

- Developing analytical frameworks to support the company in new markets and products

- Analysing and extracting relevant information from large amounts data from various sources including (but not limited to) our historical business, web analytics data and website logs.

- Establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, develop models to find patterns, validate and prototype the model.

- Designing metrics to measure the performance of the business and provide clear and compelling management reporting on a regular basis.

Skills Required -

- Strong Analytical, Relationship and Project Management Skills for Driving Initiatives.

- Ability to Learn Quickly and Work independently with Complex, Unstructured initiatives.

- Strong Analytical Skills with the competencies to lead and Conduct Analysis using SPSS, Excel, Tableau, R, and SQL.

- 3-5 years of relevant/related work experience with Consistent track record of strong performance.

- Prior experience in start-ups if preferred - A hustler who is able to aggressively follow up, handle pressure and work rapidly evolving environments

- High Energy with a strong desire to Learn and - Can Do- attitude

- Excellent Presentation Deck Mechanics.

- Communicate complicated matters in a simple, structured way to senior management.

- Flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities.
