What You Will Do: Procurement organization : - Responsible for the function's leadership, development and operations in supporting company goals and objectives - Lead and direct the work of procurement associates including hiring, training and supervising - Responsible for contract and procurement order lifecycle - track and manage contracts, orders, RFPs, RFQs, etc. - Negotiate or renegotiate business terms in contracts including pricing with vendors - Lead expense management initiatives identifying opportunities for cost savings, streamlined vendor utilization - Develop and implement procurement policies, and procedures, user guidelines where applicable - Liaison between business, legal, information security, vendor risk management and finance functions - Ability to work independently and as a team lead; backup purchasing associates when necessary Optimize Procurement performance : - Advise business on vendor selection. Identify potential vendors with knowledge of vendor utilization across departments and coordinate due diligence activities across the Company as needed. - Adhere to company risk management/control framework; design, implement or strengthen control - Roll out global materials forecasts and drive material lead-time reduction programs - Ensure the optimum Procurement performance to achieve quality, cost, timing, environmental, safety, sustainability and technology requirements in line with business objectives - Develop Procurement organization - Develop/implement Procurement outsourcing strategy - Drive a transition to a new organizational model - Drive the implementation of Procurement Contract Management, aligning processes, master data management and negotiation time schedules - Improve knowledge management and contract templates - Continue enhancing the skill sets of the Procurement organization - Coach and develop key individuals - Lead the cross sector Procurement talent process What You Will Bring : - This individual will have at least 15 years of experience in IT Industry. - Experience with SaaS based product organizations is an added advantage. - Must have exposure in Global Market.US & Europe exposure is an added advantage - Knowledge of server/cloud (AWS/AZURE etc) Procurement. - Must have MBA Finance/Operations/Supply chain - Compliances Knowledge like IFC,ISO 27001,SOX is an added advantage
