Fareportal is hiring a highly talented and motivated Director Product Management to be the product owner for our CheapOair brand. This position will drive innovation by leading teams across product, design and engineering for Fareportal's brand. You will be responsible for not only developing industry leading ideas, but also working cross functionally to turn these ideas into live products which will be used by millions of travelers. You and your team will be responsible for crafting the vision, defining and defending a product roadmap, and driving that roadmap from business requirements through post-launch analytical analysis to determine if success metrics are met.

Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to develop a roadmap, create product definitions, establish milestones and manage the implementation and evolution of the product development cycle

- Responsible for managing multi-applications solution delivery with complex integrations across systems.

- Own product deliveries along with onsite tech management

- Coordinate with multiple teams for development, QA, and UAT.

- Responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are on time and meet defined standard.

- Responsible for real-time issue resolution of production systems.

- Responsible for managing multi-applications solution delivery with complex integrations across systems.

- Ensured total adherence to SLAs/KPIs with focused implementation of process improvements and best practices within support area.

- Lead, guide and mentor multiple teams and instill high work tempo to generate peak performance levels

- Define key result areas for team members and provide them periodic feedback on their performance levels

- Identifying and analyzing the root problem and the propose a suitable solution.

- Ensure successful completion of quality project within the time frame

- Manage software production support, Data Migration and maintenance of existing applications

- Implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members; monitoring performance & providing feedback on areas of improvement.

- Delivering and implementing the project as per scheduled deadlines; extending post implementation and maintenance support / technical support to stakeholders and team.

- Planning, implementing and scheduling activities in a project plan to ensure completion of the project within the defined timeframe while ensuring quality standards and optimal resource utilization.

- Implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members; monitoring performance & providing feedback on areas of improvement.

- Motivate, manage, recruit and lead projects across cross functional teams

Requirement

- 14+ years experience leading a product team and driving product roadmaps.

- B.E/ B. Tech from top Engineering Colleges.

- Proven track record of launching products across multiple platforms.

- Experienced building highly scalable and low latency systems/platforms.

- Experience with SDLC using scrum methodology.

- Experience with onshore and offshore engagement models.

- Experience with Open Source technologies: Redis, MongoDB, Nginx, Node.js.

- Application development experience using .NET Framework 4.0, Visual Studio, ASP.NET/C#, SQL Server, Amazon Web Services experience.

- Experience working with CI/CD systems (continuous integration and continuous delivery).

- Possess competence and hands-on experience in Web application Design, Architecture, Development, Deployment, Systems Analysis and Implementation of various applications including Client/Server.

- Champion in delivering Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

- Excellence in Engagement Management derived from outstanding communication skills with the ability to mentor and motivate developers, leads, and peers.

- Extensive working in Product based environment in the capacity of a technically hands on technologist and the manager on any technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Candidate from digital marketing or travel background would be preferred.

- Experience delivering insights from Big Data.

- Knowledge about AWS technologies.
