Manager / Deputy Manager - Human Resources

Job Description:

The Manager Human Resources, an HR Generalist Position handling the entire Gamut of HR function addressing all Short term and Long term goals. The position needs to work closely with the Asst. General Manager HR in ensuring smooth functioning of the department, bringing in new developmental initiatives and ensuring successful implementation of the proposals.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

1. Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment: Responsible for the entire recruitment process from the Job Evaluation, preparation of Manpower Budget, making of Job Descriptions, Sourcing of Candidates, conducting of Interviews, Salary Fixation and negotiations with Candidates.

2. Performance Management: Assist the AGM - HR in the Performance Appraisal Cycle. Involve in Identifying gaps; evaluating potential solutions; implementing changes; Coaching and Counselling the Managers and Employees.

3. Organizational Development :

a. Collaborate with line managers to establish and execute strategic plans that increase effectiveness of current organizational systems, dynamics, culture, competencies, management and related practices.

b. Manage data gathering, assessment, and analysis initiatives for organizational wide talent development surveys.

c. Hands on expertise in implementation of Competency Framework, Personality Assessment and Development Centre etc.

d. Execute gap analysis at senior leadership level for development and succession planning.

e. Conduct leadership/talent surveys and facilitate feedback meetings for key managers.

4. Training & Development:

a. Derive Organization wide Training Plan from Performance Appraisal for Soft skills / Technical training for employees / managers. Formulate Individual Development Plans and Succession planning.

b. Identify new Training avenues and map the training requirements and ensure adherence to training plan.

c. Evaluate the effectiveness of the training along with line managers and ensure ROI.

5. Employee Engagement:

a. Support organizational change by creating internal communication strategies and ensuring implementation of best practices.

b. Devise methods and processes for Better Employee Evaluation and suggest best recognition systems.

6. HR Effectiveness:

- Ensure that HR processes are in par with the Best Practices and efficient in producing results and are in line with the Internal Audit standards.

- Ensure that proper technology is employed to accomplish effective results.

- Ensure proper Subordinate development through knowledge sharing, delegation of work and empowerment of the workforce.

Profile expectation :

- MBA/PG in Human Resource Management from Tier-I institutes.

- 6 to 12 years of relevant HR experience.

- Must have experience in managing large employee base with high sensitivity and emotional

intelligence.

- Must be able to demonstrate leadership, decision making skills and alignment with strong ethical norms.

- Must be target and result oriented.

- Must own and exhibit good Interpersonal skills, good Communication skill and have empathy towards others.

- Ability to function independently.

- Proficiency in computer literacy MS Office.
