REQUIRING ONLY WOMEN CANDIDATES WHO ARE PROFICIENT WITH TAMIL   Education Qualification:   - BE/B.Tech preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Tech.  Total Experience:   - Minimum 13-15 years in Manufacturing and Maintenance function with 2-3 years as the Head of Factory Role - and 2-3 years experience in Contract Manufacturing set-up  Industry Preference : FMCG/Beverages/Food Processing Industry (Exception for the deserving candidates)  Requirement on candidate's recent assignments:  - Should be functioning in the capacity of Senior Production Manager or Plant/Unit Head, responsible for various one/multiple manufacturing locations during last 2-3 years (Essential)  - Should have overall responsibility around complete Operations aspects involving manufacturing; quality and cost control (Essential)  - Should have exposure on handling Labour related issues, Contract Labor Management- monitoring factory performance, quality and cost. (Essential)  - Should have experience working in Unionised set-up (Desirable)  Key knowledge/competency requirement:  Functional Knowledge/Competency Behavioral Knowledge/Competency:  - Clear understanding on Factory Operations dynamics encompassing manufacturing; maintenance; logistics etc. Strong orientation towards compliance and results  - Conceptual clarity on Quality aspects   - Ability to manage and lead a team towards defined objectives  - Conceptual clarity on cost parameters of manufacturing   - Collaborative approach  - Knowledge on preventive maintenance   - Management of factory manufacturing operations   Key Responsibilities:  - Review performance of the plant on an everyday basis - for adherence to the Production plan   - Review shop floor operations daily for checking adherence to Quality systems norms. Work out improvement plans for Quality and Hygiene IN ORDER TO ensure that the unit has requisite quality and safety standards and certifications  - Review production reports and variances; analyse reasons with the team, identify root cause, plan corrective actions and ensure implementation IN ORDER TO ensure production costs and variances are minimized. Responsible for managing the budgets of the unit  - Verify production plan and compare with the available capacity. Communicate change in plan, if any, to Central Planning. On an ongoing basis, agree on schedule changes, if required with the Central Planning Team and Regional Replenishment Team.   - Check assumptions for various CERs and accuracy of bills; get the payments approved as per charter of authority IN ORDER TO ensure timely payment and procurement for the unit  - Participate in Plant Scale trials and stabilization of commercial production of new SKU Lines along with, Central Planning, Replenishment and Engineering  - Interact with R&D and marketing to understand the new product or SKU to be introduced; Determine specific equipment's, needs of up gradation for the unit and ensure procurement IN ORDER TO ensure commercialization of new products and SKUS as per plans  - Review production and conversion budgets; Confirm capacities based on SKUs (based on Existing and proposed), number of working days/shifts available, and plant capabilities; Confirm direct costs, manpower requirement, M&R, other overheads, expansion budgets IN ORDER TO ensure timely and accurate budgeting for manufacturing operations for the unit  - Participate in IR committee discussions; Participate in negotiation with Union; Discuss with third party in case of arbitration; Sign the settlement and implement the same; Ensure that the Industrial Discipline is maintained in the factory IN ORDER TO maintain harmonious industrial relations
