Industry - FMCG / Foods / Beverage Category - Operations Job Type - Permanent Job Description - Looking to hire a plant head for a MNC in FMCG industry Client Details Our client is an established MNC headquartered in Mumbai, currently clocking 400+ crores as the turnover, with a product portfolio unfolding in multiple categories of food, nutrition and beverages Description Reporting into the Director Supply Chain, you will be responsible for - - Setting the Factory strategic choices and plans required to deliver the business and manufacturing priorities - Benchmarking with other Network Sites in the region on Parameters of OEE, Capex and Opex - Building the Factory to be Future Ready for Volume Step Growth and preferred partner for Exports Supply - Leading the Factory organization to be a highly reliable, responsive, and competitive in operation - Rooting a zero-risk operating culture to guarantee a safe environment for anyone working in the Factory (Danoners and Contractors) - Accelerating Performance Rate of Improvement and partnering HR in putting short term and long terms Employee Relations strategies in place that supports Engagement, Productivity agenda and cordial relations at site among all Stakeholders Internal /External - Building Productivity Pipeline to secure cost reduction (Plant and Related Indirect COGS) - Developing & Implementing through Manufacturing & Supply Chain best practices and standards - Driving connectivity, networking, and benchmarking both internally and externally - Securing product superiority through minimized product variability and spec consistency and strengthening the Factory Organization - Pushing organizational development, high performing teams, and proximity leadership - Developing internal talented leaders who can further grow within the company (First Line Leaders and Plant Leadership Team members) - Strengthening the Factory contribution to CBU innovation pipeline - Building relationship and set long term action steps with local community and unions representatives protecting both site reputation and competitiveness Profile An ideal candidate would be having an experience of 15+ years along with current role of heading the plant/site/factory in a Food/Beverage/ Food processing/ Powdered based goods industry. He/she should be a full time engineer/food tech passout and will be responsible for managing the entire P&L of the plant.
