Role Description We are looking for an experienced Quant Analyts to join our team and build software solutions that leverage statistical techniques and cutting-edge technologies. The role will be responsible for developing tools in Python to collect data, analyze data, and build models. It is a remote position, but you will be working fully integrated with a small and highly motivated team. Expect a fast-moving environment with a high learning curve. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Python and AWS - Excellent working knowledge of Django, Docker, MS SQL Server, and AWS - Passion for technology, software development, and mathematics - Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design, data structures, design patterns, and algorithms - Ability to develop and scale backend API solutions - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - High attention to detail - Degree in computer science or engineering/mathematics/statistics - Coursework in data science or statistics is a plus Detailed Role Description - Develop analytical libraries and tools leveraging both open source and proprietary numerical software packages - Integrate with AWS to tackle storage and compute challenges across large datasets and parallel computations - Partner with product managers and frontend developers to define priorities, deliver custom software solutions, and improve the backend process - Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications - Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency - Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade application - Create security and data protection settings - Write technical documentation - Have fun working in a high-energy team and learn everything about finance there is to know Company Introduction FactorResearch is a fintech startup distributed globally.
