- Facebook is seeking a leader for our regional Strategic Partner development team to manage and maintain strategic relationships with our key media partners & public figures, ensure that these relationships meet the strategic objectives of partners and Facebook, and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

- This person is comfortable dealing with high profile external partners as well as cross-functionally with internal colleagues in Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Legal to create new social experiences that meet the strategic objectives of partners and Facebook. The Media Partnerships team is the face of Facebook to our external relationships and gets to work with some of the biggest celebrities, talent agencies, movie studios, news organizations & media companies in the regional markets. This position is located at Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and manage team of individual contributors for regional markets

- Develop long term strategy for media partnerships, including addressing region specific needs

- Become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct relationships with Facebook's key partners in the media & entertainment space in regional markets with focus on southern India

- Identify strategic partners, educate them on Facebook's platform and technology, manage relationships with key partners

- Manage the strategy, implementation and optimization of Facebook's strategic partnerships

- Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends to managed partners & monitor progress

- Be an internal advocate for the partners & advice product and other teams on the needs of the market

- Represent Facebook at industry events and in meetings with senior executives from other companies and own key relationships

- Build and manage scalable partner programs to drive broad adoption of the Facebook Platform

Requirements :

15+ years experience, including 5 years of related partner or product experience

- Background in having worked in South India with knowledge of the media & entertainment ecosystem and functioning of media partnerships

- Proven track record of driving partnership strategy, preferably at a media company or consumer Internet company, among a diverse set of industries

- Experience of having managed a team & record of being a team player

- Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to serve as a spokesperson for the Facebook Platform

- Must be fluent in multiple South Indian language(s)

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans

- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally

- Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
