Role and Responsibilities :
- Planning and Production
- Partner with relevant teams (marketplaces, manufacturing) to smooth out production flow in order to maximize production efficiency
- Develop vendor/factory capacity strategies and drive Supply Chain Optimization initiatives
Inventory Management :
- Standardize inventory management and planning processes and policies, such as but not limited to: inventory settings, days of supply coverage targets, order minimums, lead time management, and replenishment orders
- Create collaborative strategies among Supply, Inventory, and Demand Planning to maximize inventory availability
Communication & Leadership :
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the online demand of products and its impact on current and future production capacity and inventory levels
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related Business degree. PGDM/MBA or equivalent qualifications are a plus. Other supply chain certifications are a plus
- Must have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end operations for a Consumer products company (B2C/D2C organizations), especially at a fast-moving, e-commerce player with Pan-India manufacturing/sourcing
- Strong working knowledge and experience implementing inventory management/replenishment and supply planning leading practices & principles
Skills :
- Analytical and technical ability to read, analyze and synthesize information to Executive or Senior Leaders to inform and support inventory & replenishment planning decision making
- Collaboration, influencing, and communication skills to work successfully across business functions, suppliers, contract manufacturers and logistics partners
- Strong program management and problem solving skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to maintain high levels of energy in a dynamic and super-fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office tools esp. MS Excel
