Job Description : We believe that accounts function is a key business partner which can really fuel the growth and at the same time ensure adequate checks and balances to ensure complete reliance on all transactions; thereby helping in taking relevant, quick and data-backed business decisions. As a part of this role, you would carry a tremendous responsibility of highlighting various accounting and financial exceptions and working proactively with relevant stakeholders to get those rectified/attended to on a timely basis. Role Description : 1. Leading the team to have complete control on AP, AR, Banking & Treasury and FA function of the Company and to ensure that their relevant objective are met in a time-bound and efficient manner 2. Ensuring all transactions are completed within the defined TAT and recorded in the systems 3. Creating procedures which can identify gaps in various processes and documentation etc. 4. Ensure that all identified rejected transactions are communicated to the concerned stakeholder and get those resolved 5. Working with Finance Controller and other functional heads to ensure timely closure of books within 2 days of month end. 6. Interacting with various auditors and ensure that all requirements are met with. Basic Requirements: 1. Qualified CA with 3-7 years of experience 2. Working knowledge of SAP 3. Demonstrated experience of managing team 4. Worked in a multi-location, multi-entity environment 5. Working in a restaurants and/or retail would be an added advantage 6. Strong orientation of driving constant efficiencies through extensive use of IT 7. A self-starter requiring minimum supervision
