Purpose & Accountabilities / Job : 

Description : 

- This position will support the FO Reporting and Analysis process.

- Lead complex Continuous Improvement projects from scoping to delivery across Financial Operation Reporting and Analysis

Processes : 

- Support the development of CI mindset through various improvement initiatives

- Coach process staff in delivery of CI projects using appropriate CI methodology

- Drive bottom line benefits to assist Company's Finance to close the value gap

Dimensions : 

- The incumbent will overlook a number of improvement projects. Typically, the objective will be to improve key metrics performance, generate savings and add business value.

- The FO Reporting and Analysis process is a global process team of approximately 2000 FTE's across 5 Company's Business Operations centers.

Skills & Requirements : 

Minimum qualifications :

- Certified Lean Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt preferred; If not certified then a strong continuous Improvement mindset is required and desire to certify as Lean Sigma Black belt within two years

- Minimum University degree, preferably with at least five years- work experience

- Prior experience of Shell financial processes and controls is highly desirable

- Experience in facilitating workshop and coaching/ mentoring activities

- Strong team-working skills with the ability to influence and motivate large diverse teams to embrace and deliver sustained operational improvement.

- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral

- The role involves extensive interactions with various stakeholders and therefore requires a combination of intellect, maturity, strength of character, and an ability to earn respect

- Proven organizational and prioritization skills

- Passion and sense of urgency for executing performance improvement projects

- Change agent with strong credibility and influencing skills

- Self-motivated and possess demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results

- Demonstrated strong analytical, interpretive and presentation skills; able to synthesize complex

Information and prepare concise, compelling presentations

- Demonstrated strong process and project management skills

Additional Information :

- As Continuous Improvement specialist, the incumbent will support the process in achieving the delivery of their Continuous Improvement programme. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their CI skills to make a real difference to the E2E Reporting and Analysis processes and help embed a strong CI culture.

- In addition, this role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the next phase of the Finance CI journey aimed at growing CI capability, delivery, and mindset in Finance.

- Equipping Finance staff with the right behaviors & skills to solve problems on their own

- Train & Coach on improvement project delivery

- Train & Coach on Company- s- CI Ways of Working to leaders

- Build a working understanding of CI through training of staff at all levels

- Embed CI Standard Ways of Working (CI SWoW) as a key component of the Finance Operations

Management System 

- Leading Complex Change - Finance CI staff as Change Agent

- Help sponsors develop & implement an effective CI deployment strategy including Low-Cost Automation

- (-LCA- ) opportunities aligned with business strategy.

- Lead complex change initiatives that require greater change management experience & skills

- Role Model Company's CI Ways of Working

- Integrating the Components of Operational Excellence - Finance CI staff as Integrator

- Share best practice &; enable replication

- Connect interdependent processes systems, data & people to deliver End-to- End improvement

- Promote coordinated CI deployments in Company by leveraging on CI networks

- Facilitate development of a common agenda (including digitization) through Integrated Process Plans
