Desired Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.A.(Economics) or Equivalent or MBA from a reputed institute Role Description: - Should be responsible for Trade data collection, industry data collection, employment data collection and analysis at regular intervals both from India and Global perspective - Should involve in analysis of current trade scenario and emerging trade trends with particular reference to competing nations and emerging markets. - Should drive Market Development/ Linkages/ Trade Promotion with broader understanding of both Domestic and International Market - Should identify key high growth global opportunities for export promotion from India - Should identify key import dependent products for import substitution - Should prepare trade related reports with actionable recommendations - Should perform statistical analysis for projects and reports; develop graphs, reports and presentations based on intervention and findings - Should engage in any data analysis, econometric analysis, statistical forecasting and projection related assignments - Should have report writing skills, develop graphs, presentations based on data backed findings. - Should liaison with departments, industries, states, etc to obtain data including production figure, and value chain data - Creating and maintaining statistical databases for technical textiles - Should assist in development of forecasting models across variables for technical textiles - Should identify import dependent products/ segments and identify value chain components that need to be development indigenously - Should prepare representations on the behalf of Technical Textiles Division - Should engage in detailed analysis of WTO compliances and use of Non-tariff barriers (NTBs) for policy interventions/ recommendations - Should assist in other activities as suggested by the officials of Ministry of Textiles - Should coordinate with various departments/bodies of Ministry for data collection, collation and analysis - Should assist in developing and Improving content of new/existing MIS Dashboard - Should assist in generating both periodic and ad hoc reports, as needed - Should maintain and support MIS activities including process improvements for increased efficiency of the scheme components - Should perform basic statistical analysis for projects and reports; develop graphs, reports and presentations based on intervention and findings - Should assist in other activities as suggested by the officials of Ministry of Textiles
