Wavespace Ops and Demand Generation


The opportunity:


- As the wavespace Operations and Demand Generation lead for the EY wavespace Trivandrum team, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic and client relationship management support to wavespace Trivandrum. The responsibilities will also include co-developing and executing strategy and demand generation plan wavespace Trivandrum in close collaboration with the GDS Account Leaders, GDS Service Line leaders and Global wavespace locations.


- Participating in annual business planning process and identifying new streams for revenue growth. This role would require interpreting data from multiple sources and representing it in right perspectives to articulate value proposition with impact. A consultative mindset, Pre-sales activities, strong selling skills, a flair for creative marketing are prerequisites for the proposed role. Whilst the nature of the work focuses on the positioning wavespace and growing wavespace experiences, collaborative events as a GDS offering.


- The competencies required is a diverse and challenging blend of logical problem solving, innovative thinking, and political astuteness. As the public face of GDS wavespace, it is expected that the candidate will confidently engage and influence diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders to position wavespace as a powerful and clearly differentiated facility, capability and brand within the GDS


Essential Functions of the Job:


Wavespace Demand Generation:


- Develop and nurture relationships with onshore clients/sponsors and internal/external stakeholders on the basis of strong understanding of their evolving business priorities and expectations


- Develop growth plan for wavespace and drive execution co-develop and execute wavespace location-wise or plans that enable strong demand generation to achieve targets.


- Client and market intelligence - Analyse and map the client/sponsor landscape for the assigned region in terms of their Roles and Degrees of Influence, their receptivity to wavespace, their business priorities/issues/challenges, their projects and pipeline, etc.


- Serve as the point of contact for Global wavespace locations to manage incoming enquiries and opportunities and maintain accountability throughout.


- Cross-sell/upsell opportunities to increase wavespace penetration


- End-to-end management of visits of clients/sponsors conceptualize themes, project-manage preparation activities, manage experience, moderate the engagement, steer resulting opportunities to closure


- Drive execution of action plans and conversion of opportunities from client visits/workshops/meetings with global wavespace stakeholders.


Pre-Sales activities and Marketing :


- Drive campaigns socialising GDS wavespace with Global wavespace and GDS stakeholders onshore clients/sponsors under the assigned account(s) to enable target achievements


- Conceptualize solutions/responses to problems/requirements and articulate their value proposition creatively on collaterals


- Develop proposals and collaterals responding to various wavespace requirements


- Develop and continuously update marketing material for wavespace


Strategic operations :


- Oversee the operations aspects of projects in wavespace and drive reporting and cadence in line with governance directions


- Lead organizational projects/initiatives of strategic significance for the wavespace


- Provide recommendations and actionable insights to GDS leadership on the wavespace based on analysis of data gathered


- Develop business cases/proposals of varying complexity levels as part of business planning for wavespace


To qualify for the role you must have demonstrable experience in:


- 8 years of experience in sales, pre-sales, marketing, account management, relationship management, client servicing. Experience in these with Big 4 firms will be an added advantage.


- Strong marketing skills - developing collaterals /presentations/ pitch documents and orally presenting to an audience


- Ability to influence and maintain relations with stakeholders (internal and external) across levels - from associates to the Management and Executive layer


- Very strong communication skills, good critical thinking, logical and analytical mindset


- Ability to sift through large amounts of data and provide actionable insights


- Adopt a consultative /partnering approach with stakeholders; ability to - wear many hats- on the job


- Experience of working with virtual teams spread across offshore and onshore centers


- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team.


Education : Preferably BTech with MBA
