The incumbent will be responsible to support the growth agenda of the India Technology Sector for EY India which has been a key sector of focus for the firm. This multi-faceted role will work closely with and report to the India Technology Sector Leader. The incumbent would be a core member who will be responsible to coordinate and drive of firm-wide and external initiatives in the sector Key responsibilities: - Supporting acquisition and alliance strategy in relation to the strategy execution to improve new-age business needs and advanced capabilities. - Work across various topics of strategic interest to EY and EY's clients in the technology sector. This would require the incumbent to be abreast of key trends shaping the sector, strategic issues and challenges, industry performance, analysts- views and competitive intelligence. - Assist the Sector Leader in developing/ shaping points of view through the publishing of thought leadership material, marketing material or media articles. This will require the role to possess a thorough research-oriented mindset, conduct fact-based analyses and present his/ her findings in an insightful and succinct manner - Coordinate initiatives undertaken by the sector teams and Leaders/ Partners spread across EY India, work collaboratively with them and help drive result-oriented actions. This will also involve program managing key initiatives, including solution development initiatives, go-to-market initiatives etc. and supporting the leadership team in knowledge inputs and insights - Monthly engagement with global technology centre coordinator to contribute towards new solutions under development, infuse India participation in global thought leadership, and leverage marquee proposals/wins for sharing trends and insights with India tech sector - Network with internal and external stakeholders, industry professionals and be on top of the sector performance in India and Globally and bring insights and perspectives which can help shape EY's response to address the challenges of the sector - Driving new thought leadership/whitepaper/articles for new age topics such as Enterprise Risk, Digital Risk, AI/ML, etc - Assist in preparing insightful briefing notes, backed with fact-based sources for client and/or leadership meetings. For this, the incumbent would need to be agile, responsive and resourceful in gathering quick and useful materials, often in a short timeframe
