EY - Senior Consultant - Economist

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications :

- Years of Experience: 10+ years

- Should be either a B.E. / B.Tech / M. Tech / M.S. / MCA

Economist Job Description :

- At least 5 years experience in performing a variety of statistical analysis using tools such as SAS, R, SPSS etc.

- Good understanding of statistics is expected. Should be familiar with statistical tests, distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.

- Should have knowledge of different programming languages such as Base SAS, R, Python, SQL etc. for at least 4 years

- Experience in predictive analytics using data mining tools

- Experience related to areas of fraud detection, risk analysis

- Earlier experience of working in government domain would be preferable

- Experience required in data sampling, variance estimation, statistical modeling, hypothesis building and testing, imputation and related areas

- Experience in analyzing raw data and using the results of such analyses to produce reports for decision making purposes

- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

- Excellent communication and documentation skills
