Academic Qualification

B.E./B.Tech with a good academic background

Experience

- 5 years of experience in power transmission sector (132 KV and above voltage level) across feasibility studies, DPR, Transmission lines/substation projects implementation/construction /monitoring.

- The candidate will be placed across various locations with in the state of Bihar and may be transferred from one location to another within the state of Bihar on need basis.

The candidate should:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant post qualification experience

- Team management skills

- Client management skills

- Project management skills

- High initiative and drive

- Maturity and ability to handle pressure

- Positive attitude and high commitment

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred

- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Transmission project (132 KV and above) planning, implementation and monitoring.

Roles/Responsibilities

- Continuous progress monitoring and reporting of both physical and financial work progress to head quarter team through concerned MIS module of client's ERP system

- Framing and implementation of site level customized action plans & mitigation measures to avoid delay in projects

- Timely communication of issues / support required from Head Quarter-highlighting to client

- Weekly/monthly review meetings with all stakeholders

- Centralized analysis of progress reported by field teams to identify the anomalies and monitoring of progress

- Milestone based monitoring of activities based on the agreed project implementation schedule

- Monthly progress interactions with field officials to assess the challenges faced and mitigation measures

- Conducting site visits on sample basis for physical verification of work being executed (1 visit per month per circle by circle level team). Submission of exception reports on monthly verifications for each circle.

- Ensure all physical targets are achieved by continuous monitoring

- Assistance in verification of bills/invoices of sub contractors

- Addressing issues in case of deviations and suggest means to remove hurdles

- Assist in identification of anticipated bottlenecks in project implementation & preparation of remedial action plan

- Preparing circle level and HO level work completion report on monthly basis clearly highlighting milestone wise progress achieved, performance of contractor, performance of circle, impediments faced and mitigation measures

- Mapping of activities as critical, sub critical and normal based on the progress reported

- Monthly update to senior management on the project progress

- Identification of interventions required from senior management

- Continuous check on quality & safety, financial and material compliance
