EY - Product Owner - SME Segment - P&U Sector

- They manage the requirements development process through the elicitation, analysis, specification and verification of multiple levels of requirements (business, stakeholder, solution) and support the ongoing management of the requirements. Product Owner creates viable and consumable specifications including acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction and testing of IT solutions.

Essential Functions of the Job/ Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of product

- Support the definition of the solution vision, the strategic roadmap and lead the proof of concept definition

- Play subject matter expert (SME) in Power& Utilities sector space and leveraging one- s data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.

- Collaborates with product manager, sales partners and customers to identify new needs, co-develop a roadmap, define use cases and drive products and features in a fast-paced environment

- Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and operations users

- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.

- Leverage the Scrum methodology to ensure product delivery with PoC, sprints, etc.

- Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.

- Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.

- Act independently to deliver and manage requirements to schedule, budget and scope; and is self-driven and motivated

- Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.

- Partners with sales/stakeholder to conduct and deliver pre-sales demonstrations

- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

- Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog or assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

- Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.

- Aid or support go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.

- Drive/conduct training sessions to fellow product owners, business analyst, engineering teams to impart Power &Utilities industry sector knowledge, business domains, insights, future trends etc.
