EY - Organization Change Management Role (5-9 yrs)

Organization Change Management

Role Objective:

- Lead delivery of change management engagements across various IT enabled and other business process transformation initiatives such as ERP transformation, Supply chain transformation, Financial Transformation, IT outsourcing, IT and application up-gradation and other SMAC related initiatives

- Play a key role in ensuring IT transformation projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing clients- employees- adoption and usage

- Demonstrate thought leadership and expertise to facilitate development of internal team's change management competency in IT transformation projects.

Key roles and responsibilities:

- Application of a structured Change Management methodology for managing change in IT transformation projects

- To be responsible for handling multiple change management initiatives for clients across various IT enabled and other business process transformation initiatives such as ERP transformation, Supply chain transformation, Financial Transformation, IT outsourcing, IT and application up-gradation and other SMAC related initiatives led by clients

- Work closely with IT advisory and other functional teams to support joint delivery of projects

- Lead change management teams throughout the lifecycle of an IT transformation project

- Advice client stakeholders in effectively managing technology project governance, creation of technology project organization structure and enhancing in-team collaboration and communication

- Develop change management strategy and plan for managing changes due to the IT implementation

- Develop communication strategy and plan for managing communications during the IT implementation

- Work with the technology leadership, business process teams, and site coordinators to define a strategic and tactical communications plan to effectively disseminate messages

- Perform stakeholder identification and assessment of all stakeholders likely to be impacted by the process and technology change

- Use standard techniques and tools for conducting change impact assessment for all impacted processes and tools

- Advise client organization on planning mitigation actions against high impact areas by creation of change impact action plans

- Writing, refining and updating programme benefits and undertaking regular reviews with track-wise project managers to assess the benefits and disadvantages arising in the course of the IT transformation

- Design and develop an active change champion network and support the client in identification and nomination of change agents

- Set up governance structures for ensuring business readiness

- Preparation of change discussion guides (based on change impact action planning) for specific audiences

- Lead the training track for IT implementation and supervise activities such as training needs analysis, training strategy, training plan, training content development, end user training delivery, super user training delivery and training evaluation

- Constant reporting of people and business related risks during the project implementation, planning risk mitigation strategies and utilizing appropriate escalation methods for highlighting risks.

Desired Knowledge & Expertise:

- 5 years and above of Change Management project leadership experience in a system implementation environment (Required)

- Exposure to or certification in standard change management methodologies such as PROSCI, ADKAR, ACMP, Kotter's Change Management methodology or any other accredited change management methodology (Preferable)

- Deep knowledge & understanding of project lifecycle of large-scale IT transformation projects such as ERP implementation, Supply chain transformation, Financial Transformation, IT outsourcing, IT application up-gradation and other SMAC related initiatives (Required)

- Applied knowledge and experience of working in capacity of project manager for large scale IT transformation projects such as ERP transformation or IT outsourcing (Required)

- Understanding of various essential internal business processes for Finance & Operations (Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Reimbursement etc), Human Resources (Hire to Retire, Expense Reimbursements etc.), Sales, Marketing and other business processes (Required)

- Applied knowledge of standard change management tools and templates (Required)

- Experience with transitioning individuals and organizations through the Awareness-Understanding-Adoption-Sustainment journey (Required)

- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal and excellent active listening skills (Required)

- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences (Required)

- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within project team and with client organization (Required)

- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal (Required)

- Flexibility, adaptability and ability to work under ambiguous situations (Required)

- Problem solving and root cause identification skills (Required)

- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization (Required)

- Experience in project management for large scale transformation projects (Preferable)
