EY - Technology Consulting Role - Urban Development

Job Role :

1. Client service delivery/execution: Execute projects and documentation, often supporting multiple clients

2. Team management: Manage teams from diversified backgrounds and experiences to ensure client delivery.

3. Lead Business Development efforts: proactively identify opportunities for BD pursuits through potential client connect, proposal creation, demonstrating good understanding of sector and solution.

4. Develop industry expertise: demonstrate good understanding of the specific sectors/industries

5. Network & Identify opportunities :

(1) Identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate to the manager

(2) Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm, to gain understanding of issues that may impact clients

Essentials :

1. MBA from Tier 1 college and/or from IIT. (Ph. D qualification to be considered, if any)

2. Superior analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity

3. Ability to conduct high quality analysis

4. Great communication skills

5. Positive attitude and respect for work

6. High interpersonal skills

7. Ability to work independently and taking initiatives

8. Ownership for assigned responsibilities and organization frameworks

9. Ability to build and develop internal as well as client relationships / vendor relationships

10. Willingness to travel - domestic and international or willingness to relocate

11. Readiness to work in remote locations

12. Time management skills - the ability to work with deadlines and multitask

13. Experience of large Project Management, government or private sector

Experience : 15+ years of work experience in either of the following areas :

1. Currently working with consulting organization, preferably in similar role or a government organizations/ ministry / funding agency willing to move to a consulting organization

2. Currently associated with Development Advisory work, NGOs, Training Service Providers, NSDC Partners etc. and willing to move to a consulting organization

3. Currently working with Government advisory consulting/ urban development in the areas of infrastructure development, financing, drainage, city development/ planning, in other Big 4s, Accenture, or funding agencies or other organizations
