Manager - Advisory, PI Finance - Accounting Regulation Change

About the opportunity

We are seeking highly capable and multidisciplinary team members to build our Performance Improvement- Finance - Financial Transformation (PI Finance - FT) offering to our clients. We are seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants.

About you



- Focus on setting up CoE for Finance functions in the past with experience in accounting standards like USGAAP, EU banking, IFRS (15/16/17)-

- Work in multidisciplinary teams, provide insights and recommendations on people, processes and systems and work with clients to deliver performance improvements

- You will deepen your subject matter expertise as part of a global network of finance advisory professionals and get the opportunity to work on global projects

Your key responsibilities

- Managing project teams through all phases of the accounting regulation change engagement.

- Lend specific subject matter knowledge on reporting standards to the design and implementation phase of each project, helping to give specificity to the appropriate architecture, data model, system design and interfacing requirements.

Our clients are always looking for ways to be more efficient and cost effective, you will advise clients on a variety of business process services that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities.

Skills and attributes for success

- You will ideally will have previous exposure in setting up Finance functions/teams to execute large programs 

- You will possess excellent communication skills and an inclination to bond with our clients to provide an outstanding service delivery experience.

To qualify for the role you must have

- 13+ years of work experience, including CoE design and build, system implementation execution, system implementation design, and/or lean / six-sigma operational improvement projects

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in consulting and delivering solutions in accounting regulation change



- Used business process, organizational and technology capabilities and knowledge across several of the following focus areas:-

Financial Accounting and Reporting operations/technology

General Ledger/ERP Systems features/functionality

Sub ledger and Data Warehousing features/functionality

Financial Close and Reconciliations features/functionality

Statutory Reporting Systems features/functionality

Enterprise Technology Expense Reduction-

- Hands-on experience in any of the finance tools like Aptitude, SAS, Moody- s Analytics for IFRS implementation

- Ability to define strategy to grow existing accounts and win new ones

- Ability to drive client discussions, PoCs, proposals and RFPs

- Vision to create company- s future financial close system roadmap

- Manage multiple engagements from delivery and opportunity perspective

- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team of finance advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies

- Possess a deep knowledge of technical architecture design and have a good understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and against all components (middleware, database, reporting tools, etc.) in financial systems architecture

- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-70%

Ideally, you- ll also have



- Post-graduate / Graduate degree in accounting, finance or a related field;

- CA, CPA or CIMA Or MBA Finance

Project experience in the following areas:

End to end finance transformation and accelerated close; sub-ledger/ledger redesign; management reporting enhancement, business intelligence/decision support; enterprise application integration; financial planning, budgeting and forecasting; business/merger Integration; reconciliation redesign or improvement
