EY GDS - Manager/ Assistant Director - Capital Analytics EY's Capital Analytics Group (presently the key engagement for the team) is the center of excellence for modelling services in the firm with an international reputation. The assignments cover a wide range of countries and industry sectors. The Capital Analytics team serves as the thought leadership and tool engine with a team of digital professionals to support new analytics tool development, process re-engineering and automation, financial analytics and user focused visualization. The main objective of the role is to oversee engagements pertaining to analytics, develop and lead a team with the skills required to support engagements and achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key decision-makers and constituencies. Primary Responsibilities and Account abilities: - Oversee multiple engagements taking a leading role in understanding clients needs, ensuring the accuracy of the analyses and communicating results - Translate high level business requirements/problems into sound and comprehensive framework through appropriate usage of advanced techniques and responsible for successful delivery of the analyses/deliverables - Lead a technical team and be accountable for the overall design, build, delivery of tools and applications involving complex interplay of UI technologies (SharePoint, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 2/4), BI technologies (MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI) and code versioning tools like Git, TFSs with ability to provide hands-on technical leadership - Help incubate new analytics products by executing Pilot, Proof of Concept projects to establish capabilities and credibility with users and clients. This may entail working either as an independent SME or as part of a larger team Competency required - - Highly numerate and analytical individuals preferably with an excellent academic record and a degree in mathematics or engineering - Proven experience in estimating, planning and managing technology driven projects. - Strong Analytical skills, ability to ask right questions, analyze data, draw conclusion by making appropriate assumptions - Strong experience of leading technical teams involving complex interplay of UI technologies (SharePoint, AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery among others), BI technologies (MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI among others) and code versioning tools like Git, TFSs with ability to provide hands-on technical leadership - Excellent people and team management skills - Flexible to travel to location within India and abroad to deliver project work Education & Experience : BE ( in Electronics or Comp ) & a relevant PG course relevant work experience between 8 to 15 years in a big 4 or consulting set up.
