Assistant Manager External Communications, Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC)

As an External Communications Assistant Manager, you will handle industry events and employee advocacy programs. In this role, you will help us build EY GDS as an aspirational workplace amongst the potential talent, showcase our proficiency and expand our brand presence. Your key KPIs would be to increase positive conversations abound EY GDS in social media through our employees and Executives and support all communication and marketing efforts for various industry events.

You will get all the guidance and tools to create and execute the employee advocacy program end to end. You will be entrusted with building the EY GDS brand externally in industry events and award nominations. You will work with numerous stakeholders across the organization that will offer you visibility across levels. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certificationsl

As an external communication personnel, you will split your time between handling events and the employee advocacy program.

As an events coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

- Increase EY GDS SoV in the media - Identify and develop a robust event calendar to promote the EY GDS brand, service line proficiency and Executive placements

- Establish strong connections with industry associations like of Nasscom, TiE, etc.

- Position EY GDS leadership via sponsorship opportunities and speaker sessions

- Support the team with event branding content - develop graphic communication not limited to fliers, reports, presentations, emails, and other marketing collaterals

- Source authored articles opportunities for EY GDS Executives with industry associations

- Showcase EY GDS event participation on social media via posts, live tweeting, etc..

Through handling the employee advocacy program, you will:

- Increase the positive SOV of EY GDS mentions on social media by building employees as advocates and engage employees and Executives on their personal social media account. To do this, you should understand the EY landscape, EY GDS marketing and business goals, and the way of working in a matrixed organization

- Strategize and curate content to help our employees and GDS Executives share quality thought leadership content, EY branded content, recruitment creatives, CSR campaigns, employer branding content and employee-driven stories to increase EY GDS employer brand value

- Communicate with numerous stakeholders, educate them on the importance of building a solid personal social media brand, and influence EY GDS brand value and goals. Ensure the program is always active

- Showcase ROI, higher channel penetration and expansion.

Skills and attributes for success :

- You must demonstrate high levels of people management skills with projects executed across management levels. A zealous, goal-oriented professional is willing to go the extra mile to achieve the task at hand. You must possess excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Have successfully executed employee advocacy program

- Have an established network with prominent industry associations

- Prior experience of managing participation in industry events and award nominations

- Worked closely with executive leadership on multiple projects and have been able to influence their choices

- Native level expertise in English to create and curate creative content for social and digital media

Ideally, you'll also have

- Worked in technology organizations and with B2B brands

- Passionate for social media and various digital platforms

- Experience in content management systems and platforms like Buzz Sumo, WordPress, etc

- Interest in content research across trending topics, technical and soft skill topics
