Assistant Manager, Employer Branding- Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC)

The opportunity:

- We are looking for an experienced communication specialist to join our growing Brand, marketing and Communications team to further our employer brand strategies externally.


- As a person handling the employer branding program, you will be responsible for strengthening EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) brand as an employer of choice externally. 


- Your role will help us build brand EY GDS as an aspirational workplace amongst the potential talent, showcase our competencies and expand our brand presence.


- This role will be mainly tasked to support talent attraction and recruitment efforts through various communications efforts, including social media management.

Your key responsibilities:

- Conceptualize EY GDS's identity as an employer brand and execute employer branding strategy for EY GDS

- Be a passionate storyteller of EY GDS as an employer of choice - drive current and new initiatives to define and convey our differentiated brand

- Understand the EY GDS employer brand and what makes it special and identify ways to amplify those attributes.

- Equally, understand the challenges with our employer brand and work to propose solutions.

- Identify partners and platforms to help amplify and position our brand among key talent.

- Know the Technology landscape and relevant industry events and ensure EY GDS has a presence where beneficial.

- Consistently keep abreast of trends and changes in the tech space, updating the business and proposing ways to participate where necessary.

- Build relationships with key internal partners (e.g. Talent, internal communication, wellness and inclusion) to gather internal resources to help build our external narrative.

- Plan and execute branding and recruiting events on and offsite.

- Create ongoing and innovative engagement programs to continuously evolve our employer brand.

Skills and attributes for success:

- Excellent written and oral English language skills

- Solid knowledge of the employer branding methodology and the most efficient modern practices

- Experience in the tech space - recruiting, marketing or employer branding.

- Proven track record in executing successful employer branding/marketing initiatives.

- Established relationships with potential employer branding partners, eg. Platforms or branding organizations.

- Ability to utilize metrics to demonstrate success in building /strengthening a company's employer branding proposition.

- Experience in using data to tell compelling stories and securing buy-in.

- Strong interpersonal skills, the gravitas to work effectively with a wide range of internal clients and partners of varying levels of seniority.

- Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, while remaining composed, thorough and detail orientated.

- Resourceful - able to think creatively and cost effectively.

- Excellent research skills- always on top of industry changes and trends.

- The ability to be agile and pivot at short notice.

- Proactive, able to spot future trends and position EY GDS to capitalize on these.

- Passionate, proactive, solution orientated, creative and able to think and learn quickly.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in employer branding, marketing and communication

- Fluency in English

- Experience in cooperation with external organizations

- Event management experience

- Social media experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)

- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ideally, you'll also have:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Creative, flexible, can-do attitude

- Ability to look independently
