About Finance Advisory Center - Mercury Support Team (MST):

As an organization jointly owned by the business and IT, the MST is a centralized and global organization that provides operational support for an integrated, SAP-centric platform (Mercury) and manages and supports the Mercury user community. The MST plays an integral governance role in the global Mercury solution and will evolve to work closely with the business to enable the benefit and value to be realized from the investment in Mercury and to set the future direction and technology road map.

The opportunity:

We are looking for a Learning Consultant with expertise in Learning and Content Development to join our MST Learning Team.

Under the direction of the Learning Lead, the Learning Consultant will be responsible for maintaining the Mercury learning curriculum, which may include conducting learning assessments as well as learning development across multiple tools.

The Mercury learning curriculum consists of hundreds of learning objects in multiple formats, including but not limited to user guides, training toolkits, videos, bite-size learnings, simulations, etc. Infographics. The learning consult will be responsible for becoming knowledgeable about various Mercury process areas as it relates to the curriculum.

This includes:

- Updating and/or designing and creating new materials for ongoing releases, fixes, and new applications that fall under the Mercury umbrella.

- Expanding or modifying learning strategies and methods to respond to feedback from users, stakeholders and other metrics to improve effectiveness of content

This requires teaming with process leads and product managers to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External

Your key responsibilities:

- Evaluate system enhancements scheduled for production release and independently assess the impact (learning impact assessment) these changes will have on the end user community to determine the learning that will need to be developed or updated

- Manage and maintain a wide variety of training materials for MST members and Mercury end users.

- Effectively design and develop net new learning solutions within assigned timelines and of expected quality.

- Manage the Mercury Global learning curriculum updates according to plan for each Mercury release, engaging with product and process owners as necessary to deliver materials to deployed regions on time.

- Establish and maintain effective relationships with Process Leads/Product Managers (who are experts in the Mercury design) and other key stakeholders

- Team with Process Leads and Product Managers to develop:

- A sound understanding of assigned Mercury/SAP modules that results in significant expertise and working knowledge of all related functionality, process and policy for a given module

- Learning materials that are current and accurate representations of system functionality and business processes.

- Continuous improvements to knowledge and learning strategies and procedures

Reporting

- Provide reporting to MST Learning leader regarding the success of learning and knowledge solutions, including timely delivery, usage statistics and user/customer feedback.

- Process improvement

- Ensure continuous improvement approach to the knowledge and learning solutions.

- Project Management

- Develop and maintain project plans for work deliverables

Skills and attributes for success:

- Technical skills requirements

- Sound knowledge of ADDIE and/or SAM

- End to end understanding of change management life cycle () and strategies to move to commitment

- Project delivery experience in a similar, complex ERP systems environment

- Experience in Information Mapping methodologies to ensure clear, end-user focused document design

- Instructional design, eLearning material development skills

- Adobe Captivate / Articulate Storyline / Camtasia Studio, SnagIt

- Microsoft Office

- Microsoft Teams

- SharePoint

- SAP Basic Knowledge (Context)

- Experience in cross-function teaming.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

- Bachelors degree in adult learning, technical writing, or equivalent work experience

- At least 6-10 years of industry experience with at least six-years of experience in training design and development

- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

- Excellent copy writing and editing skills; strong attention to detail

- Ability to develop and deliver creative, credible ideas for content

- Strong project management and organizational skills

- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders

- Demonstrated knowledge management and ERP business concepts training experience

Ideally, you'll also have

- ATD/Equivalent Instructional Design certificate

- Knowledge Management certification

- PMP

- Ability and flexibility to work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones

Ability and flexibility to adjust hours and schedule to demands of cyclical release schedules and system incidents
