Working capital Advisory Services (WCAS) focuses on providing benchmarking, diagnostic reviews of AP, AR and Inventory to EY clients across the globe, analyzing large volumes of data with SQL, Access, Alteryx. etc. Other activities include creation of working capital dashboard, writing client's data related questions, insights on data quality and practical recommendations to optimize client's working capital.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Manager will include:

- Lead engagement teams executing WCAS which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value

- Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation

- Build relationships with EY offices across the globe, and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products

- Provide insights\observations based upon the WC analytics, benchmarking and leading practices

- Engage on larger OTS projects and develop ability to pitch for working capital diagnostics and optimization

- Ability to analysis the working capital using existing tool; develop expertize on various metrics and KPI

- Develop expertize on AP, AR and inventory optimization and have clear inroads to deliver on supply chain analytics

- Big data analysis with extensive use of SQL/Access/ VBA

- Collate the leading practices, develop expertize and mentor the junior members to deliver on high quality output on engagements.

Job requirements

To qualify, candidates must have:

- Post Graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science or related field from a premier institute with 8-10 years of applicable industry and/or consulting experience

- Understanding of M&A life cycle, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A

- Have expert knowledge of MS Excel, with knowledge of preparing templates, graphs, charts, pivots, etc., from information provided in hard copies and downloaded from data sites

- Should have worked with large data sets in Excel, MS Access and able to formulate queries in MS Access

- Should have working experience on SQL server or similar database applications

- Should have expert knowledge of Power-point

- Should have experience in analyzing financial data sourced from financial statements and supporting schedules and should be able to write observations in reports based on the analysis

- Have an eye for detail and be able to add industry specific key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Reconcile reports and MS Excel workbooks created, before presenting to the client

- Knowledge of financial databases for benchmarking metrics of target with peers
