GDS TAS Operational Transaction Services

Within TAS, Operational Transaction Services (OTS) services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the transaction life cycle, across buyers and sellers. We cover a wide range of operational aspects, including divestiture advisory services, carve-out readiness and support, operational due diligence, synergy assessment and delivery, day-one readiness assessment, 100- day planning, integration process support, carve-out/stand-alone costs assessment and risks, and cost reduction.

Roles & Responsibilities - 

- As a Manager in OTS Strategy you will be a vital member of the executive team leading and executing transactions

- You'll support the value creation/strategy team in finding opportunities, during a transaction to realize improved returns for a shareholders, by minimizing operational disruption and identifying and unlocking value through improvements in commercial dimensions such as go-to-market strategy etc., operating model redesign, and cost optimization techniques

- Manage client engagement teams executing OTS services which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value

- Provide guidance on projects and mentor a team of OTS professionals

- Conduct timely performance reviews for employees and develop other professionals by providing effective performance feedback and training. Lead by example

- Identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Senior Managers on proposals and new business opportunities

- Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided

To qualify, candidates must have:

- A post graduate degree (MBA / CA / CFS) in Business, Accounting, Finance with 8 years of related work experience or a combination of engineering with finance /MBA

- Suitable consulting/ corp. experience

- Experience in preparing GTM strategic materials - use an analytical approach and methodical thinking in managing a range of transnational and advisory work

- Identify revenue generation opportunities for the asset under consideration - develop business cases, pitches, and proposals to generate new leads and lead and execute the client mandate

- Understanding of M&A life cycle, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A

- Strong knowledge of key sectors, such as Life Sciences, Consumer Product and Retail or others

- Good skills in financial modeling and have an ability to understand and interpret financial metrics and statements

- The candidate will additionally have a proven and successful experience in strategy consulting and advisory, leading a business into enhanced financial performance
