Candidate must have excellent background in Strategic Level Financial Analysis, solution oriented mindset, results driven, strong influence and leadership skill and aspiration to be part of a dynamic organization.

Key accountable for this role:

Strategic

- Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the business unit. Serves as the key partner for the relevant business leader/stakeholders in determining strategy for the area of responsibility.

- Enables business decision capability by providing top quality decision support analysis from financial strategies point of view for key stakeholders

- Ensure Finance objectives are in line with organization/business

- Support and manage organization strategic/business improvement initiatives such as Acquisition, GDS cost reduction, Process improvements and innovations

Business Budgeting/Planning and Forecasting

- Translate strategy into budget/planning and propose measurable targets

- Oversees and manage the business budget and forecast process and reporting the results

- Evaluates financial implications of various strategic decision, builds scenarios and recommends actions.

Business Performance

- Deliver monthly Financial performance analysis report with insightful highlights and solutions to address the issues

- Monitors progress achieved and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identify issues, and advises management on actions

- Exhibiting cost leadership and drives appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization.

Leadership and behavioural competencies

- Effective leadership style with focus on building inclusive culture & high performing teams of global professionals

- Ability to lead with teams in different contexts & environment with an awareness of group dynamics to drive an inclusive approach

- Relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders to achieve world class performance outcomes

- Influencing skills -ability to work with ambiguity, and build consensus across diverse views, cultures and styles.

- Excellent communication & articulation skills with focus on business development & stakeholder management

- Strong analytical skills with problem solving & decision-making capabilities

- Demonstrates passion & energy at work and in promoting EY values & behaviours.

Education and experience requirements

- CA or equivalent, post-graduation not a must but desirable

- Approximately 14+ years of relevant experience within big four accounting firm or large multinational firms with at least 10 years of experience in a very senior management role.

- Experience of working in a cross-border, virtual environment and international stint would be preferred

- Structured and results driven leader with high ability to influence the organization

- Strategic orientation and good Change Management capability

- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
