Associate Director - Cloud (Financial Services) Position Summary : Lead Cloud practice at EY GDS for all FS clients Essential Functions of the Job : - Understand, build and expand GTM Cloud offerings to clients - Own pre-sales for all FS Cloud proposals and drive revenue - Liaise with internal stakeholders across member firms to sell Cloud offerings - Take accountability for the delivery of Cloud engagements in FS Analytical/Decision-Making Responsibilities : The candidate needs to understand the EY organizational model, how to position the right service offerings across regions and clients, leverage the right solution assets and propose the optimal delivery model. Knowledge and Skills Requirements : - Should have managed large-scale Data Center decommissioning and Cloud migration engagements - Should have expertise in setting up and running Managed Services / outsourced projects - key exposure areas are due diligence, service transition, steady-state attainment, and continual optimization - Good grasp of architectural concepts needed to run Cloud Migration and Cloud Managed Services - Proven ability to work with & operationally manage sub-contracting vendor eco-system - Possesses an understanding of IT Services: service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as organizational structure - Should have had a flair for executing an end-client-facing role - Good knowledge and experience of Cloud ecosystem and IT methodologies that will be handy to provide thought leadership and guidance to the pre-sales and delivery teams - Experience in the Financial Services industry is a must (Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth, Insurance) Supervision Responsibilities : - Should be able to run the 2 offerings - Cloud Migration and Cloud Managed Services - with minimal supervision - Work in a matrixed structure collaborating with GDS leaders across competencies and sectors Other Requirements : - Works across regions to create a market for defined Cloud managed services offerings and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets. - Support member firms to win cloud engagements including Architect, Building, implementing, testing, and benchmarking the enterprise-ready cloud offerings (IaaS, PaaS) Experience : - 20+ years of experience in Infrastructure/ Cloud Migration/ Managed Services, preferably from a top-tier Global Outsourcing services provider. Certification Requirements: Any industry technical certifications in Cloud from Azure, AWS, GCP, and CNCF.
