EY GDS - Assistant Manager - Risk Management - Internal Policy & Compliance

Global Delivery Services (GDS) - Risk Management :

With the increased compliance requirements in the areas associated to EY GDS across multiple locations and increasing needs to enhanced support to business units on new areas of compliance predominantly in client service business and larger size operation functions, this job is to primarily lead operations for GDS Risk Management team. This role reports to Assistant Director (Senior Manager equivalent rank in GDS) of GDS Risk Management who manages the multiple processes.

The opportunity :

We have an excellent opportunity for an individual who has executed and participated in compliance areas in a corporate and looking for a learning curve in managing some unique compliance requirements applicable to the operations/business of GDS. GDS Risk management is an internal corporate function. To support GDS Risk Management leads and GDS Risk Management leader on various operational necessities related to various needs highlighted in the responsibilities section below.

Your key responsibilities :

This role will involve following set of responsibilities and more basis the growth plan of the GDS Risk Management function:

- Support the leads in Implementing and monitoring systems and compliance processes in GDS and wherever required, extend support with respect to co-ordination on legal matters.

- Learn technical aspects of various internal policy Global compliance requirements to help responding to queries by employees associated with internal policy compliances mandated throughout the year. The activities also involve in-depth analysis of data to generate MIS and Matrix based reports, function-wise within respective Business Units.

- Assist in monitoring compliance to various EY policy matters and in consultation with the GDS RM Lead, advice function heads on RM matters

- Execute and help manage Business Relationship specific compliances as per EY's policies

- Support various initiatives around creating RM awareness in GDS

- Help in coordinating Global & location related initiatives and staff mandates across GDS

- Assist the GDS Risk Management Lead with the review, development and implementation of compliance processes, rules and standards as per the internal policies

- Support other team members within Risk Management on other Risk Management projects (This is not primary role, to be undertaken as and when needed, depending on availability of time)

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Compliance and Risk Management function in a corporate environment (execution role and not advisory role)

Ideally, you'll also have :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance or Accountancy

- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint presentations, Power Bi, Dashboards

- Understanding of compliance and risk management needs
