EY- GDS - Solutions Team - Transition and Transformation Leader

- As part of EY GDS Solutions Team, the Transition and Transformation leader will be responsible for driving the transition and transformation projects by leading a team of supervisor associates and analysts.

The opportunity :

- We're looking for an Assistant Director with expertise in Transition and Transformation Management to join the EY - Solutions Team. The incumbent is responsible for transition activities, project management, evaluating business cases and creating materials for the process.

Your key responsibilities :

- Formulate and supervise the project stages of Discovery and Assessment, Project Preparation, Solution Design and Planning, Transition Execution, Testing & Pilot, Steady State Turnover/Implementation

- Review new and existing processes, resources and systems, making and overseeing any changes

- Define scope and evaluate business opportunities

- Act as point of contact between different departments within the company and relevant third parties

- Communicate strategies and objectives with relevant departments

- Identify any risks regarding changes and develop a strategy to overcome these

- Implement any changes sensitively and with minimal disruption

- Manage issues including recruitment, staff training and appraisal as required

- Manage due diligence activities

- Setup change control processes

- Manage, develop and implement the aspects of quality compliance and accuracy attributes

- Manage the department and ensure that the team consistently delivers quality results

- Interact with customers and clients to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and discuss them with senior leadership

- Plan, organize and direct transition activities

- Manage and ensure effective transition of process by scheduling project inputs, assigning resources and responsibilities

- Carry out appraisals and be responsible for counselling & mentoring of subordinates

- Plan timely training for respective departments to maintain and improve skills of team members

- Work with supervisors to understand the team's concerns and resolve them

- Delegate tasks appropriately and develop Supervisors and others to move to next level

- Work under pressure, managing absenteeism, attrition and people issues

- Handle internal escalation as well as escalation from other teams in Global Shared Services regarding people issues or client issues.

- Providing effective solutions and guiding team members on various Functional issues

- Ensure the career development plan for each team member is adhered.

Skills and attributes for success :


- Detailed background knowledge or hands-on experience in transition and transformation projects

- Sound working knowledge of general business processes and organisational framework, such as goals, strategy, culture and structure

- Ability to demonstrate a high level of verbal and written English

- Proficient at producing and presenting reports

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders

- Confident with strong decision-making skills

- Ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity

- Good leadership skills and ability to work well within a team

- Ability to influence key decision makers

- Ability to set and meet objectives

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good time management skills and ability to multitask

- Embeds a spirit of learning and continuous development within the team.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications :

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in driving large programs and transformations

- At least 4 years of team leading experience

- At least 10 to 12 years of overall experience if you hold a graduate degree

- Experience in working and supporting multiple service functions is preferred

- Advanced Excel Knowledge

Ideally, you'll also have :

- PMP Certification will be an added advantage
