EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Content Center of Excellence is looking for Assistant Director - Insights and Thought Leadership Content. We- re looking for candidates who will play a pivotal role in helping our markets team deliver original, timely, insight-based content solutions that position our experts as thought leaders and strategic partners in the market. The candidate will have an important role in the coordination of major research projects and creation of original content for use across owned, earned and paid channels, and at EY-run and third-party events. This role requires exceptional writing skills; experience creating original, well-researched business content that aligns with editorial strategy and helps further the brand; strong experience in the management and delivery of complex content-led projects; creativity; and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Help unearth cutting-edge insights, reframe dialogues on key issues, and build and position content to align with our editorial strategy to drive demand

- Build a robust content strategy that will further strengthen our point of view

- Be the lead writer and editor for all thought leadership content

- Be aware of changing market trends, themes and audience needs

- Ensure content is smart, journalistic, insightful and in alignment with EY writing and style guidelines

- Develop content plans to support strategic priority areas

- Write concise, engaging copy that adheres to style guidelines for a wide range of channels, formats, and target audiences, often to tight deadlines

- Create high-impact thought leadership content and associated materials such as blogs, social content, videos, articles for the web, presentations, etc.

- Work in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment - managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

- Demonstrate exceptional presentation, communication and persuasion skills

- Translate editorial briefs and complex information into clear, concise, compelling thought leadership content

- Work with market research to uncover insights

- Project-manage the development of flagship reports, from briefing to research execution, report production, content creation and stakeholder management

- Work with external suppliers and agency partners on report production and content delivery

- Build creative multimedia content, including video, working alongside in-house Creative and Digital teams

- Support spokespeople prepare content for external events, including presentations and speaking points

- Monitor best practice internally and externally and bring new, creative ideas to the table

- Work with global and regional teams and colleagues to stay up-to-date with pipeline of reports and content being developed that are relevant to the local market and strategic priorities

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External

Education and experience:

- Graduate/Post-graduate in Journalism/Communication or similar subjects

- At least 7 years of experience creating thought leadership content and managing thought leadership projects

- Exceptional writing skills and strong attention to detail

- Focused on continuous learning and improvement

- Creativity and problem skills, high levels of resourcefulness

- Experience in managing multi-stakeholder research projects and reports

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Ability to analyze and interrogate data to unearth one-of-its-kind stories

- Team player with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with vendors, colleagues and internal clients across functions and geographies

- Ability to critically assess technical content and translate into digestible, insightful content relevant for specific audiences

- Comfortable and confident engaging with senior stakeholders

- Skilled at planning and executing content across a variety of channels and formats in support of campaign objectives

- Experience in media relations is an advantage
