- At-least 6 years of experience in the agriculture domain and excellent understanding of econometrics, with a post-graduate degree in Agriculture Economics or Economics. Or, MBA in agri-related domains such a rural management, Agri-business etc.

- Hands-on experience of working in R or Python.

- Good understanding of secondary and primary research.

- Willingness to learn and explore new areas of research.

- Demonstrable interest and understanding of agricultural policy, agricultural economics, rural affairs, the environment and rural legislation. Knowledge of, or interest in, agri-tech an advantage.

- A team player happy to work as part of a group to complete projects and work towards the single common goal.

- Excellent writing skills in a variety of contexts - bulletins, books, reports etc. Able to present complex technical issues in a focused, succinct, professional and compelling manner.

- Ability to source and gather information from a variety of sources and synthesise it into a coherent output.

- Should have good attention to detail but also be able to complete tasks promptly and to deadlines.

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and an ability to persuade, influence and collaborate with a wide range of people of different backgrounds and expertise.

- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage a number of tasks simultaneously

Ideally, you'll also have

- Working knowledge of Telugu. This is not a necessity though. Non-Telugu speakers are welcome to apply.

- Sound IT competence.
