EY - Director - Cyber Security - Government & Public Sector (10-16 yrs)

The opportunity :

EY is looking for a Director responsible for project delivery, team management, client relationship management and business development support in the Technology Risk domain for Banking and Financial Services clients.

Your key responsibilities :

- Manage projects on Governance Risk and Compliance, Security Architecture, third party risk management, IT Audit, SOC, Privacy and should be Solution champion for one or more solutions mentioned above

- Experience in Government sector for digital or cyber security initiatives

- Own and implement digital / automation initiatives for one or more of the solutions mentioned above

- Maintain strong client focus by building strong relationships with clients, scheduling and conducting key client meetings.

- Play a key role in the development of less experienced staff through mentoring, training and advising.

- Able to support sales efforts through creation of collaterals and client interactions, proposals.

- Travel in India and Overseas at a short notice

- Able to work with teams from multiple geographies and clients from Africa/Middle East

Skills and attributes for success :

- Sound understanding of the overall cyber security domain.

- Strong Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships

- Good written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations

- Good understanding of technical platforms around SIEM, DLP, Cloud Security, Cyber Forensics and champion in one of these is mandatory

- Able to work independently with multi-tasking

- Strong project management abilities, solid understanding of IT risks and controls and proven decision-making and analytical skills

- Strong Microsoft Office skills

- Excellent planning and organization skills

- Flexibility to operate within rapidly changing environment

To qualify for the role you must have :

- MBA/MCA/MTech/MS in relevant engineering disciplines

- Certification Requirements (At least one certification from First 2 categories is must and certification from last category will be given preference) :

a. CISA/ CISM/ CRISC/ CISSP - any one mandatory

b. ISO27001 LA, ISO 22301 - any one mandatory

c. DCPP/ CIPP/ CIPT - any preferred

- Preference. 10+ years of experience in large consultancy or relevant industry segment

- Prior Big 4 experience a plus

- Experience in Government sector for digital or cyber security initiatives as well as cyber forensics

Ideally you'll also have :

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.

- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.

- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)

- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
