We're seeking a Senior Consultant / Consultant with Islamic Banking expertise for our Financial Services IT Advisory Practice. In this role, you will deliver projects on specialized on Islamic Banking and other Domains in areas such as Implementation phases like Requirement analysis, Solution design, Testing and Training. The responsibilities further includes scope management, current state analysis, RFP preparation, vendor selection, cost control, quality and status reporting. You will also play an active role in assisting the team in business development activities like working on proposals, presentations and preparation of go-to-market material for the practice that you are a part of. Requirements: - To specialize in at least two or more of the following business areas: - Islamic Banking (Loans &amp; Deposits) including AA Islamic - Profit Distribution System - Core (Customer / Accounts / Limit / Collateral / MCMB) - Must have good knowledge on various products like Musharakah, Mur- baah, Musawamah, Istisna, Bai Salam, Ijarah and Tawarruq - Having worked with MENA banking projects will be an added advantage - Make recommendations on best banking practices to the Project Manager and alert him on practices that might damage the client's business or contradict legal requirements, before recognition as a problem by the client - Conduct parts or all the User training in a subject, which includes design, customization, and update of Training Materials and Handouts - Proficiency in understanding business requirements, preparation of Requirement Specification, Functional Specification, Solution Design documents, Gap Analysis. - Prepare and perform the functional testing to support User Acceptance Testing. - Quick troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. - Good customer communication &amp; presentation skills (Oral &amp; Written). - Ability to come up with innovative ideas/workarounds for complex business requirements. - Partner closely with other members of project teams including the representatives from vendors and client organizations to ensure a successful project delivery - The ideal candidate should have minimum 5-6 years of experience and a maximum of 9 years experience - Educational Qualifications: BTech, BE, MBA, PGDBM with relevant experience in Islamic and conventional banking domains - Make reports and presentations to steering committees or project sponsors What You Will Need To Succeed : - Strong knowledge of Banking solutions like Core Banking esp Islamic banking modules, Digital, Fintechs and other emerging technologies. - Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization - You can effectively negotiate and use persuasion when necessary to ensure the success of the team and the project - Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment - Proficient use of MS office tools like MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio and MS Project (a must) - Should not have any travel constraints in India &amp; Globally for short and long term Projects.
