EY - Cloud Solution Architect - MS Azure IoT (8-13 yrs)
Cloud Platform (MS Azure IoT) Solution Architect
Responsibility:
- To lead technical teams on design and implementation of full-stack IoT solutions on MS Azure IoT Platforms
- Develop technical solution designs that cover available platform services for edge device connectivity, device management, data ingestion and management, streaming and big-data analytics, visualizations, mobility apps, API interfaces to enterprise applications.
- Show technical leadership in designing and developing cutting-edge solutions in the space of industrial IoT based on specific customer requirements.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software development and architecture experience, with 4+ years implementing cloud software applications having completed design/implementation of a minimum of 4 Azure cloud application implementation projects
- 3+ Azure IoT project implementations (IoT projects on similar platforms such as Thingworx/ Predix may also be considered).
- Certification and experience with implementing Azure IoT Hub.
- Implementing IoT solutions with Operational Technology (OT) and the application of advanced digital and analytic technology in OT environments - manufacturing operations, process and control systems, SCADA, MES, etc - will be a strong positive.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other). Comfortable with version control.
- Ability and willingness to innovate and learn new technologies and platforms quickly.
- Strong communication skills. Technical Presales/consulting experience will be extremely valuable.
