EY - Associate/Senior Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions (1-4 yrs)
Role: Associate/Senior Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions [Only candidates with Prior Investment Banking Experience may apply]
The candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in front-end investment banking in Retail & Consumer Products or Industrials space
Hands-on experience across the deal life-cycle - from deal origination, sourcing, execution,valuation, due diligence and closure
Responsibilities:
- Execution of transactions including identifying buyers / targets
- Preparation of detailed collateral including pitch presentations, information memorandum and management presentations
- Building complex financial models including valuation analysis, financial projections
- Researching market intelligence and developments to identify potential business opportunities
- Performing in-depth industry and company research using internal databases and public sources
- Interacting with clients, potential investors, legal firms and due diligence agencies for closures
Skills Required:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word
- Strong understanding of Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Valuation Drivers
- Good understanding of the overall transaction process including financial modeling and valuation, term sheets, diligence and definitive documentation
- Strong communication skills
