Job Description - 


- Responsible to drive Gurgaon employee transport operations & provide strategic support.

- Drive standardization and develop Continuous improvement operations excellence program.


- Responsible for team building and development.


- Accountable for Gurgaon site transport operations budgeting and cost control


- To ensure statutory, internal policy and process compliances for transport operations.


- Provide inputs for strategy decisions and key value adds for transport operations improvisation.


- Demonstrate Leadership and inculcate EY values and culture in the team.


Essential functions & responsibilities of the Job:

- Responsible for drive Gurgaon employee transport operations & provide strategic support.


- Ability to create structured approaches to solving unsolved, unstructured problems and capitalize on untapped opportunities in transport operations.


- Ability to influence stakeholders through logical, data driven analysis and insights.


- Strong execution skills while engaging with multiple stakeholders


- Result driven, quick to act with a strong sense of ownership


- Good Interpersonal skills, able to adapt and work with leaders and cross-functional teams


- Ability to apply strategic analysis tools and frameworks to assess new opportunities


- Define and align transport operations goals and objectives in line with the GDS India goals as set by EY.


- Possess strong ability to define process, develop policy and define KRA for transport operations and evaluate performance against defined 

KRA- s.


- Ability to plan, drive Continuous improvement operations excellence projects and implement effectively.


- Plan, coordinate and ensure critical solutions are provided to the management with utmost priority.


- Ability to make important decisions and showcase expertise with best industry practices.


- Possess strong knowledge on the current process/ software tools and safety standards followed in different states for managing transport operations.


- Responsible to review the performance of the service partners, analyse and guide to ensure SLA- s are met.


- Review feedback on all transport operation deliverables and address concerns periodically, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.


- Ensure Safe and secure transport commute environment with periodical review/audit of all integrated safety & security management systems and processes.


Responsible for team building and development across Centres:

- Team skill mapping and gap analysis


- Identifying and recruiting talented resources


- Defining JDs of team members and setting their goals, identifying KRAs and KPIs


- Accountable for managing resources within the team, building their skills, ensuring a highly motivated group of resources.


- Maintain good collaboration within team members


- Performance management


- Team development and career planning


- To ensure succession planning.


Budgeting and Cost Control:

- Responsible for transport operations budgeting based on growth projections.


- Periodic review of budgets with actual expenses, analysis and provide corrective action.


- Identifying initiatives for cost control


- Explore every possibility to control cost, analyse operations and project it to management on any alarming issues or upcoming requirements.


Sustainability and Business Continuity:

- To ensure sustainable- transport operations through conscious and consistent Initiatives


- Analyse internal processes and take steps to mitigate risk.


- To gather on ground information and co-ordinate with BCP team to take pre-emptive measures for avoiding Business risks during Emergencies & exigencies.


Statutory Compliance, EY Brand, EY Values and process adherence:-

- Adherence to all statutory compliances and internal policies, processes & guidelines.


- Meet all requirements of QMS / ISMS & other certification Audits as required by the company


- To ensure the company Brand and Values are taken care in all WES Activities.


Strategic Support to GDS India Lead:

- Contribute and support Gurgaon WES Lead for strategic initiatives.


- Provide key inputs, and implement decisions on ground.


- Provide high level market synopsis and take value add judgements to improve transport operations.


Analytical/Decision making abilities and Values:

- This role entails analyzing cost of operations and taking decisions on increasing the efficiency of day to day operation and provide leadership.


- This role requires an eye for details with need for urgency and understanding essence of time.


- Demonstrate Integrity, values and hold high moral grounds


Knowledge and skills requirements:

- Customer centric mindset


- Ability to handle multiple sites with transport operations experience in companies of similar strength and structure, with adequate exposure to process/policies and transport tools.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


- Impeccable background


Educational Qualification:

- Any graduate or equivalent. Post graduate preferable.


Experience:

- Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in process driven companies handling a team size of 5 - 15 members.
