Role Description:
Growth Acceleration Group is the newly formed function within Global Delivery Services and is responsible for driving demand through proactive engagement with GDS users globally, with a particular focus on the Regions. The function's mandate is to create and execute global GDS strategy that increases GDS revenue, grows global account penetration and improves engagement margins by focusing on
- Account management
- Business development / Demand Enablement
- Marketing and Awareness
- New services - cross service lines / functions
The role involves working with Growth Acceleration leadership team and supporting them in strategic priorities / initiatives in line function’s overall business objectives. It’s a mix of strategic and operations role with an element of supporting the leaders in team management and overall operations.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Working with the leadership team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of key frameworks, operate model, policies and operating protocols etc.
- The individual needs to have a comprehensive understanding of the multiple geographies, GDS usage, value proposition, relationship matrix, operating model, business priorities, opportunities, growth drivers and inhibitors.
- Assist in developing account plans and relationship enhancement strategies.
- Execute on the plan, track and report progress.
- Ability to build and develop high-impact relationships with internal stakeholders in a cross-functional environment within GDS
- Collaborate with reporting / business analytics function to deliver insightful reporting, improve data integrity and management, and utilize analytics to help the leadership team evaluate and drive business performance
- Participate in monthly/ quarterly business reviews with the Account leaders and SL / CBS regional teams
- Play a lead role in managing virtual / in-person client events by developing plans in conjunction with internal and external leadership, and drive the discussions to meet the agreed objectives.
- Share leading practices and activities from other account/functional teams with area leadership and brainstorms go-to-market strategies
- Ability to analyze and report on data obtained from multiple sources and to make recommendations to the leadership highlighting impact / change.
- Ability to use a strategic, solution-oriented approach to creating interest in our unique value proposition with senior level executives
- The role requires excellent analytical skills to analyze the business issues / challenges with a view to supporting the right decision making process
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Should be able to conceptualize / visualize business solution and deliver customized presentation, business collaterals articulating progressive value proposition to the executive level audiences and follow up with the leaders to create a competitive advantage
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
- Must possess strong listening, oral, written, presentation, and communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable interacting with senior leadership (Partner / Director level)
- Ability to work within a matrix and virtual environment – where a “one size fits all†may not be sufficient.
- Ability to prioritize, drive and adapt to change quickly in a fast paced environment
- Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mindsetâ€.
- Adopt a consultative /partnering approach with stakeholders; ability to ‘wear many hats’ on the job
- Knowledge of management concepts / tools such as Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking, Business Process Reengineering, Change Management, Customer Relationship Management, Business Value proposition etc.
Supervision Responsibilities:
The role is primarily an independent contributor role, however, the individual is work with cross functional teams.
Other Requirements:
- Experience in account management strategic operations and project management
- In-depth knowledge of offshoring / shared services global industry and operate model
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
- Professional services firm work experience is desirable
