Position Summary :

The responsibility of the BMC Analytics Product Manager and GDS Delivery Leader is to lead the development and implementation of an effective measurement strategy across BMC under the supervision of the Analytics Leader. The role includes being product owner of a suite of marketing analytics products including web analytics, social media listening, tag management, web optimization, marketing automation and CRM data. The Leader will help drive the implementation and measurement process improvements across the BMC organisation.

The role will build and operate measurement and reporting standards and artefacts for BMC activities that enable the organisation to understand BMC ROI and how the function delivers value to the business. The role will have responsibility for leading, recruiting and onboarding a virtual, agile, global team of marketing analysts, product owners and data specialists whose core responsibilities include:

Marketing analytics :

- Analyzing the effectiveness of externally and internally facing marketing channels including web, email, advertising, events, PR, social and video; then providing reports and dashboards and interpreting this data for campaign managers and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) leadership.

- Building, maintaining and improving the technical environment for data analytics.

Data management :

- Managing the core data sets, ETL processes and analytics environment across channels, programs and BMC functions globally and regionally. Utilize analytics tools such as Tableau, Python, R, Power BI, etc. to deliver data visualizations, dashboards and reporting frameworks to support measurement and analysis.

Learning and education :

- Building and facilitating analyst communities, create and conduct trainings to further embed analytics into the BMC function, and mature analytics within BMC through a communications and enablement program

- Success in this role is building a high-performing Agile team.

Essential Functions of the Job :

Analytics and data management :

- Work directly with stakeholders across the BMC business to implement and improve the reporting frameworks needed to measure BMCs impact across the EY Client Lifecyle and against the firm's business objectives

- Drive and ensure compliance with KPI and data quality standards

- Manage the BMC analytics environment including data visualization and dashboarding capabilities, databases, data extraction tools, and marketing data sources such as Adobe Analytics

- Implement an engagement model for BMC colleagues to access analytics resources in EY's Global Delivery Services Centres and build and scale this Analytics Center of Excellence

- Improve, complete and maintain the fundamental data tracking systems and processes in each of our external and internal brand, marketing and communications channels

- Implementing and ensuring quality standards are adhered to in terms of output

- Own projects to deliver new analytics capabilities/platforms

Training & Education:

- Lead the development of content and training for the BMC function and facilitate training sessions

- Coach and mentor team members and support the development of the BMC Analytics Center of Excellence

- Build out the skills profile of team members, identify development areas and implement activities to close skills gaps

Knowledge, Competencies and Skill Requirements :

- Demonstrate deep marketing analytics knowledge and a thorough understanding of marketing performance management, including return of investment for marketing programs

- Knowledgeable about key performance indicators specifically for B2B organisations or professional service organisations

- Demonstrate deep maths and statistics affinity and knowledge; be exact and detail-oriented

- Highly data literate and have extensive experience in and understanding of data extraction and manipulation and a good understanding of data structures and data analytics

- Be highly proficient in digital marketing data extraction and reporting tools such as the Adobe Suite (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch), Sprinklr, Brightcove, ON24, Kantar, SAP CRM, Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI

- Have hands-on experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo

- Be able to work effectively with IT; navigate their processes and teams in order to maintain and develop systems and tools

- Knowledgeable about advanced data analytics and how to apply

- Have worked in an Agile team

Supervision Responsibilities :

- Supervise a virtual team of approximately 12 staff members with additional oversight of approximately 11 team members

- Includes daily operational management, people development and performance reviews

Other Requirements :

- Some travel might be required pending business needs

Experience Requirements :

- Considerable experience in a marketing analytics role at an agency or a large marketing organization

- Experience in Agile delivery

- Experience managing a virtual and multicultural team

- Effective at collaborating, liaising, gaining buy-in with other teams; can influence key decisions, initiate actions for the benefit of our clients and get buy-in from stakeholders

- Executive presence and presentation skills

- Being able to implement analytics program and improvements across a function

- Strong experience in data analysis and advanced analytics
