Employee relations (ER) is a CoE within EY GDS Talent organisation. ER function works in close partnership with Talent consultant function, Risk management function and various other external partners to manage complex/high risk/sensitive employee relations cases. ER plays a key role in creating awareness and knowledge about managing sensitive employee touch points equipping Talent consultants and people managers to effectively manage grievance and people issues in the team. Job description: - Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to talent consultants as well as service line leaders in managing wide range of employee relation issues; - Manage and oversee day to day employee concerns and case life cycle; - Be a subject matter consultant in local statutes/regulatory requirements related to employment practice and provide guidance, whenever required; - Manage employee litigation in various locations with local legal counsels/partners; - Conduct investigations related to misconducts, discipline, harassment, integrity and work ethics; - Proactively develop and deploy employee relation interventions to mitigate people risk; - Work with talent teams to understand impact of global change and need for a localized policy/exception to global policy; - Well versed with analytics and able to convert findings into actionable; - Constantly watch socio-political and regulatory landscape and provide timely advice for incidence management; - Manage redundancy scenarios. Skills Required : - Experience in handling legal regulatory authorities (labour offices, tribunal and police) while investigating/ resolving labour relation issues - Eye for legislation and monitoring legal and regulatory compliances for employment law statutes. - Effective good communication and legal writing skills. - Management/ Law Graduate - Preferably with Human Resources or Industrial Relations or Law. - Atleast 12 years+ experience of Labour/Employee Relations
