Express Stores - Manager - Business Development

Roles and responsibilities

First 3 months - crack the code

- You will be expected to pick a set of grocery stores branded by Express Stores and increase the business of the Kirana through improvising inventory, strategize and implement digitization, launch customer engagement marketing campaigns - both offline and online. This would involve -

- Understanding the FMCG space in-depth, and how and what customers purchase in the same

- Identifying and onboarding Kirana partners - This may involve meeting many of them and plenty of fieldwork initially

- Institutionalizing service delivery norms and processes for the business

- Imparting the necessary training to on-boarded Kirana partners on these norms

- Representing Express Stores in city-wide events and conferences

- Working with the product team to create breakthrough technology in the Kirana stores and online customer app

- Strategizing marketing campaigns to generate more sales in our partner stores

- Managing call center operations to address customers and their

- Once you have cracked the code, you will continue to operate it, and/or be expected to launch the new cities!

Steady-state - After the first 3 months

- Having cracked the code, you will now be expected to do the hard part - elevate yourself, hire staff and get them to replicate the code for the remaining stores in the city, applying the principles you created together with the founding team while innovating yourself.

- You will be expected to lead a team of associates

- You will be responsible for end-to-end operations in geography.

- Partner onboarding, training, and quality control

- Creative local marketing strategies and user growth campaigns

- Representing Express Stores in all local events

- Managing relationships with Express Stores' existing partners and customers
