About Us :

Express Stores is an omnichannel startup (online and offline) startup by IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani grads. It is a platform for grocery stores to find trusted business solutions including supply, inventory management, and customer relationship management tools. We aim to build a chain of 7/11 stores for India. Express Stores will be the go-to self enable platform for millions of Kirana stores in India to empower them with more business and to empower millions of customers to find the right products, in a location nearest to their home with the best quality products, at affordable prices.

We are a young, passionate team working on a tough but huge opportunity in India. Business Analyst

A Business Analyst is expected to have a firm grip on data, understand the processes, and bring out insights to drive key business metrics. He/she will work with diverse functions - from Business Teams to Supply Chain Teams to Product Teams to develop reports/analyses that add value to them. He/she should be passionate about working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

What you'll do:

- Analyse, understand process/ journey, and build insights from the data

- Define the business problem and properly structure the solution

- Develop forecasting models to predict customer and partner behavior

- Build reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance

- Automation, API Integration across various retail systems

- Work with cross-functional stakeholders like SCM, Product, Tech, Ops, Marketing, etc. to make data-driven decisions and help leadership in strategic planning

- Drive business metrics and goals, track and measure activities.

- Ownership of new initiatives

What you'll need:

- Engineering degree

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to present your beliefs clearly and compellingly, verbally and in written form.

- Proficiency in SQL, R/Python.

- Knowledge of data mining techniques like time series forecasting, regression, classification, and clustering techniques is a plus

Experience: Minimum 2-3 yrs of Experience in Analytics role
