Export Manager - Business Development - FMCG (4-12 yrs)

Role specifications :

1. Business Delivery: Lead the Branded business vertical for India Exports

a. Sales growth: Deliver topline business goals with the team, while maintaining a healthy bottomline. Sales responsibility of over INR 70 Cr from 25 markets.

b. Core Branded Business Development: Deep dive & accelerate growth in investment markets of Fiji, Australia, UK, USA, Mauritius, Myanmar, PNG, Malaysia & Maldives

i. Grow & monitor Secondary sales by key SKUs and brands

ii. Build focus brands through an annual calendar of activation / promotion plan

iii. Maintain country wise budget analysis and ensure efficiency of spends

iv. Drive growth of new portfolios like air care, hygiene range as building blocks for future sales growth

2. Business Development: Work with the team for opening new geographies like Russia, Eastern Europe, China & Hong Kong.

a. Identifying potential distributors who can build branded business.

b. Work on value chain for each potential customer, identifying:

i. Identify key product plays for each market and competitor prices for relevant products

ii. Understanding the market landscape - MT/GT/WS contribution, Trade margins, Distributor margin expectations, etc.

iii. Explore best routings options to optimize value chain

c. Plan and execute launch in respective markets

3. Team Development: Build competencies of the BD team to independently manage their customers, secondary sales analysis, development and execution of investment plans.

4. Others:

a. Connect with marketing teams to develop marketing mix for investment markets.

b. Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure support for order fulfilment.

c. Ensure all financial, registration and other regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner

Skills & Experience :

- 4-5 years of international sales experience, ideally with exposure in S.E. Asia, Europe.

- Exposure in launching Indian brands in international markets

- Experience in Distributor management/appointments

- New geography expansion experience

- Brand building business approach experience strongly preferred

- Strong customer relationship management
